A Belated Friday 3 Day Blog Round Up!

Margie of Margie's Magenta Miles stumbled across a quote from St. Francis of Assissi on Facebook about the necessary, the possible and the impossible.  Read about how she's using this quote as motivation on her 3 Day journey in this post.

You have to check out these amazing cupcakes that Joanne of Over the Top Cupcakes made for her daughter Christine's 3 Day fundraiser!  I'm drooling just looking at them!

Jenny of The Big Walk blog talks about her world full of sisters and how they have inspired her 3 Day journey in this great post.  Jenny also kicked off her 3 Day training this week with her first official training walk which she talks about here.

Leanne of Leanne... the Walker fame talks movingly about those who give "just because they can" in this inspiring post.

Michelle of the My Pink Goal blog reminds us that the strength of 3 Day participants is in our flexibility in this post.

Boston walker and Online Ambassador Jay Furr talks about why he decided to take on the added challenge of walking in DC this year here.

Beth of the Finding My Voice blog shares some great tips for 3 Day first timers in this post.

No blog round up is complete with a couple of great posts by Cat of the Fat Girl Walkin' blog.  This week, Cat wrote about procrastination and patience in this highly relatable post and about turning "I can't" into "I can!" in this post.  Cat also shared her thoughts about how breast cancer and cancer in general really can happen to anyone in this must read post.

Jennifer of the My 2010 3 Day Journey blog talks about her recent store front fundraising event and her reminder that there are still good people out there in this post.  The story she relates will definitely bring up a few tears!

John of the 60 Miles blog writes about successfully integrating kids into your fundraising in this post.

Speaking of fundraising, have you all checked out Janice of Athena's Armoury's Pink Warrior Collection?  These pieces are beautiful and 100% of the proceeds goes towards her fundraising goals.  I might have already bought a few pieces for myself - better hurry before they're all gone!

If hosting a large fundraising event is more your style, then you should definitely watch this video from Team Cure or Bust's Rollin' for the Cure event.  I'm blown away by the effort that they put into this event - very inspiring!

Finally, Survivor Meagan Sunde of Team Cure or Bust tells her story of beating cancer in this post that serves as a great reminder for why we are all doing this:  Because everyone, including Meagan, deserves a lifetime!
